The 4WD Vehicles - for your comfort and safety
Sandrifter's 4WD vehicles have been specifically designed and built for comfort, safety and reliability. The main passenger carrying vehicle is a specially built 18 seater 4WD Toyota bus. Gerry has designed and built the comprehensive range of camp kitchens and specialised trailers in our fleet. The latest addition being a stainless steel kitchen module which is housed in the flyscreened enclosed food preparation area. We tow a shower trailer that is fitted up with instant gas hot water for showers and kitchen hot water. This trailer also has a 500 litre washing water tank and a gas chest freezer for food. In our camps we also have a two flush toilet amenity which is very efficient and hygienic.
Our supply truck is fitted up with two water tanks that carry 1000 litres of drinking water.All vehicles are air conditioned and have solar panels and inverters for refrigeration and recharging facilities for batteries.We also have other 4WD vehicles and trailers designed for leading safaris/expeditions and carrying supplies, towing our purpose built trailers and mobile workshops. Gerry is a highly experienced “bush mechanic” and maintains our vehicles in the workshop as well as out bush.Our vehicles have the following features :
